Receptionist

MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards them to appropriate personnel. Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, triages emergency phone calls, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel. Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to appropriate personnel. Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information. Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Takes appointments for examinations over the phone and in-person. Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications. Maintains fax machines, assists users, sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes. Takes payments for services and products. Files insurance claims. Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies. Creates and prints fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary. Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.

1+ years experience preferred but the job is trainable if you demonstrate the right attitude. A great personality is #1. We are a fun office to work for so experience is not necessarily a requirement! Any job can be learned. We are looking for full time and possibly part time.

Starting salary for each job posted is a product of cover letter, resume, experience, and interview. We generally pay more than the average rate for our area since we tend to pick from the best.
